Sun Engineering Consultants International, Inc. (SECI for short), is a US-owned professional consulting company. Supported by UCSD Structural Laboratory Systems (University of California Powell structure research center) and UC Civil IT research center, we provide consulting services for structural engineering and civil IT etc. Our headquarters is based in Guangzhou, and we have branch offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Chongqing. SECI also established a strategic partnership with David Evans and Associates, Inc. (DEA), a global leading professional consulting group in 2007.

Senior members of our team are some of the world’s leading engineers in their professional fields, and a number of our engineers and technicians have rich practical experiences in the areas of engineering planning, reconnaissance, and design in both domestic and international service markets.

Dr. Frieder Seible, Chairman of the Board of SECI, is one of the youngest academicians of US National Academy of Engineering. He is the Dean of Jocobs School of Engineering, University of California, San Diego, Professor in Structure & Engineering Mechanics. Dr. J. Sun, Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering, University of California San Diego, a leading international bridge design master, leads the team as the company’s CEO and Technical Director.
