January 7th in 2012 is a day of historic significance for SECI – the opening ceremony of Guangdong Railway & Sun Technology Co., Ltd, a company has equity participation of SECI, was held at Ritz-Carlton Hotel.       

In the Opening Ceremony, many leaders have attended the ceremony and congratulate the founding of Guangdong Railway & Sun Technology. They are from Guangdong Provincial Reform and Development Committee, Guangdong Information and Economic Committee, Guangdong Science and Technology Department, Guangdong State-owned Asset Supervision and Administration Commission, Guangdong Association of Science and Technology, Office of Guangdong Provincial Communist Party Committee(CPC), Organization Department of Guangdong Provincial Communist Party Committee, Guangzhou Reform and Development Committee, Construction Committee of Guangzhou City, Guangzhou Plan Bureau, Tianhe district committee, Huaneng Group and Guangzhou metro company. The plaque of new company is unveiled by the Dr. Seible, the dean of engineering college in University of California and the chairman of SECI, and Mr. Zhu Yaozhong, who is the Chairman and CPC secretary of Guangdong Railway Construction Investment Group.
